Grants

New grants are available for the satisfactory completion of specific TECSkills units and for specific approved training courses for levy paying companies.

TECSkills grants are subject to the following conditions:

learners must be employed by a registered levy paying company and enrolled with ECITB before beginning training
a registered Coach must be nominated for each learner at the time of enrolment
training must be provided in accordance with an Individual Training Plan endorsed by the registered Coach
training must be provided to TECSkills unit specifications, and must be endorsed as satisfactorily completed, both by the Coach and by the ECITB Monitor
training must have led to the award of one or more N/SVQ units before any related grant is payable, apart from certain specified units
cannot be claimed in conjunction with an Advanced/Modern Apprentice completion grant.
